About the Concept
In 2026, as Barcelona becomes the World Capital of Architecture, Loop Barcelona proposes the thematic framework Xiu Xiu (Whispers) – a reflection on subtle forms of coexistence, invisible rhythms, and fragile relations between human and non-human life in the city. DOM invites video artists whose practices resonate with attentiveness, slowness, listening, and observation at the edges of perception.
This open call is specifically addressed to video artrists working with moving image, sound, and time-based media.
