When Oleg was 12 years old, his older brother brought home the book “Diary of a Genius” by Salvador Dalí. Its images profoundly impressed the boy, and Dalí’s works became the foundation for his creative pursuits. At 20, Oleg visited Europe and finally saw famous painters’ work: an event that solidified his aspiration to dedicate his life to art. Four years ago, he relocated to Barcelona, Spain, a move inspired by the desire to live and work in the place where the best masters of surrealism lived and worked. His recent creative endeavors are all centered around the search for compositional perfection. Oleg draws inspiration from such painters as Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, and Giorgio De Chirico.
