Rahim, of Persian and Russian heritage, was born in "the Green Island" city of Dushanbe (Tajikistan). From early childhood, he turned to art for self-expression. The Dushanbe National Opera and Ballet Theater scene was the start of his multifaceted artwork, and the years he dedicated to opera and dance continue to find reflection in his creative approach.
The time Rahim spent in New York between 2009 and 2010 was a transformative experience, filled with events that impacted his artistic perception.
Later on, in 2011, Rahim decided to relocate to Moscow, an important metropolis during that era, a move that signified a new chapter in his artistic journey. Although painting never ceased to be his principal medium, Rahim discovered his interest in sculpture. He also continued to employ voice and dance as his means of self-expression.
His relocation to Barcelona, Spain, in March of 2022 opened up new perspectives and provided new opportunities. But first and foremost, it was a realization of his lifelong dream: to live, work, and draw inspiration from the city of the great painters and artists such as Gaudí, Miró, Tapies, Dalí, and Picasso.
His works form part of many private collections in Europe, the USA, and Russia.
