Tatiana Brodatch, born and raised in Moscow, Russia, graduated from the Institute of Architecture and worked between Moscow and Milan as an architect for the following 15 years. She contributed to several award-winning projects and had publications in leading industry magazines. Though never disillusioned by her work, she felt like looking for a more direct and immediate means of self-expression. Starting in 2013, she embarked on an artistic journey, enrolling in Brera Fine Arts Academy in Milan in 2014. The search for spontaneity found the perfect ally in a medium of plasticine, which Tatiana has used ever since, creating faceless figures that convey universal emotions and themes such as human relationships, personal introspection, and the inherent uncertainties of human existence.
Tatiana narrates her stories through sculptures, photographs, and videos. Nowadays, Tatiana lives and works in Milan. She has participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions and collaborated with industry magazines and fashion and design brands.
