Ting Tong Chang (b. 1982, Taipei) is a multidisciplinary artist who divides his time between Taipei, Taiwan, and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. His captivating imagery and immersive installations draw upon scientific and biological knowledge to explore the relationships between individuals, technology, and society.
His work offers a profound commentary on contemporary life, often reflecting upon modern-era Taiwan through the lens of personal history. His unique approach engages audiences in a dialogue about the complexities of our current world.
After earning his MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2011, Ting has exhibited his work internationally. He has held solo exhibitions at prestigious venues, including the Museum of NTUE and Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and participated in notable group shows such as the Anyang Public Art Project, Guangzhou Triennial, and Taipei Biennial.
Ting Tong Chang's impressive accolades include the Taishin Arts Award, the Taipei Art Award, and the Art Central RISE Award, among others. His works are part of esteemed collections, including the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Hong Foundation, and Aura Contemporary Art Foundation.
