About Art Nou
Art Nou is an annual festival dedicated to emerging artists and new voices on the contemporary art scene. In 2025, it will celebrate its 14th edition, bringing together galleries, institutions, and independent spaces across Barcelona and L’Hospitalet.
The festival is an open door for those taking their first steps into the professional art world:
participating in Art Nou offers artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wide audience, including critics, collectors, curators, and institutions, as well as to build connections with galleries, peers, and art professionals.
Each year, Art Nou presents a diverse and dynamic program including exhibitions, performances, guided tours, artist talks, and professional development activities. It highlights artistic practices that reflect current issues and a fresh perspective on the world.
For the public, Art Nou is a chance to immerse themselves in the energy of a new generation and to discover names that are soon to make a mark on the Spanish and European art scenes.
DOM Art Residence is proud to present its projects as part of the festival, supporting the values of openness, dialogue, and experimentation.

Performance
While enjoying Art Nou, remember to attend CASA - an immersive exhibition-performance staged inside an artist’s apartment.
As guests arrive for dinner, viewers become silent witnesses to a charged, multilingual conversation - four voices, four languages, no subtitles. A shared table, a shared humanity.
“Casa” is a reflection on identity, dialogue, and cultural resonance through art.
